The Lotus Exige S V6 uses a 3.5-liter supercharged V6. This gives the car 345 horsepower at 7,000 revolutions per minute and 295 pound-foot of torque. That’s connected to a close-ratio, six-speed manual transmission.
The combination also makes it ideal for a 3.8-second run to a 60 mph and a 170 mph top speed.
It also has an all-new aerodynamic package developed with the help of Lotus’ ride-and-handling
team at the Hethel test track. The car also features Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires, as well as a raised rear spoiler
for high-speed grip.
Moreover, with the Lotus Dynamic Performance Management, drivers can choose from three
driving modes: touring, sport, and off. If the optional Race Pack is specified, the Exige S V6’s system
will have a fourth mode that provides maximum traction, a launch-control function, and a
track-optimized suspension setup.
These vehicles will serve as track-only options for the Lotus Cup Series teams and other racers.
The said models will be race-ready, and it will feature roll cage, HANS racing seat, racing harness,
fire suppression system, and electrical cut-off switch.
